Abstract

The background of ths research is to develop TInjomoyo Forest tourism objects based on visitor’s perceptions as a basis for developing the Tinjomoyo Forest tourism strategy. For this reason, the aim of this research is to find out the perceptions of visitors to the destination of the TInjomoyo Forest in Semarang and then formulate a strategy for developing Tinjomoyo Forest tourism objects. This study took a sample of 59 respondents who visited Tinjomoyo Forest tourism object. This research is located in Sukorejo, Gunung Pati, Semarang City, Central Java. The number of variales studied are 5 variables. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The overall results of tourists agree to the perception indicators of Tinjomoyo Forest tourism objects with an average value of 2.95. in each indicator has its own important role in determining tourist perceptions of Tinjomoyo Forest tourism objects, average of attraction indicators 2.99. facilities 2.76, infrastructure 2.89, transportation 2.92 and hospitality 3.21 included in the category agree with an average range 2.51-3.25.
