Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of corporate governance and family ownership on the performance of the manufacturing sector companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2013-2017 period. This research was conducted on 47 manufacturing companies that published 2013-2017 annual reports. This study was originally a quantitative research using multiple linear regression analysis method, but it turned into qualitative research because this research violated one of the classical assumption tests so that it could not be continued quantitatively. The main results of this study are 70% of companies in the manufacturing sector are majority and minority family ownership. Keyword: Good Corporate Governance, Family Ownership, Company Performance
