Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan empiris antara hardiness dengan stres mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi. Populasi mahasiswa Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata Semarang, dengan ukuran sampel 79 mahasiswa, yang sedang menyusun skripsi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode skala. Adapun variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah hardiness dan variabel tergantung adalah stres mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi. Hasil analisis data diperoleh koefisien korelasi antara hardiness dengan stres mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi sebesar-0,637 dengan nilai p= 0,000. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan korelasi negatif yang sangat signifikan antara hardiness dengan stres mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi. Semakin kuat hardiness maka semakin rendah stres mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi, demikian pula sebaliknya. Kata kunci: Hardiness, stress mahasiswa
