Abstract
Mister God this is Anna is a true story about friendship. It was written in 1974 and sets in East End London. In this novel, the writer, Fynn, was 16 years old. He lives in low class society. He lived in misery. The suffering is not only physical but also mental and emotional. He is totally solitaire and isolated. He may become terrifying experiences for lonely being. His life changes after he met and got along Anna. There are some friendship relation in this novel. Anna is the main character. She has relation to others. The relation are Anna and Mister God, Anna and Fynn, ana and others (people, animal, etc). Her relation with mister God and others give certain effect to Fynn. In analyzing this novel, the writer uses psychological approach focuses on the analysis how friendship gives effect to Fynn in this novel. Objective of the study are to describe friendship in Mister God this is Anna, to show the way friendship gives effect to Fynn, and to show the reason friendship gives effect to Fynn. To understand the friendship and its effect process Mister God this is Anna, the writer uses library research and deskwork research method. Library research is collecting data and getting access to rich fund of information : test, observation, analysis, and reprint from books, encyclopedic as article and government publican library.. This study will help the readers understand more abour message behind the novel. Through the novel, the student will also irhplicity learn about processes and the reason why friendship gives influence to someone.
