Abstract

With the increasing number of population there will also increase the needs of human life. One of them is the need for drinking water. One of the government's effort to supply drinking water needs by establising community-based drinking water supply (PAMSIMAS) in Bangetayu Kulon Sub-District, Genuk District, Semarang. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the drinking water program which is viewed in terms of quality, quantity and continuity. The water quality standard used is based on the Minister of Health Regulation regarding drinking water quality standard No.492 / MENKES / PER / IV / 2010. Assessment of water quantity indicator and benchmark of water quantity refers to the regulation of standard water requirement per person per day Department of Public Works is 60 L / person / day;while indicators and benchmarks of water continuity refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No.18 0f 2007 on Implementation of Development of Water Supply System. Evaluation of quantity, quality and continuity data is done by comparing PAMSIMAS data from Bangetayu Kulon Sub-District from the laboratory in 2011 with laboratory data in 2017. Water quality assessment of physical and chemical factors indicates a decrease in quality compared to research in 2011, while bacteriological factors showed colonies of germs which is higher than the standards set. Both of these points indicate the pollution of the water quality of the PAMSIMAS program. Meanwhile, in terms of quantity and continuity the water supply can be considered as good and in accordance with the standards set. Keywords: PAMSIMAS evaluation program, drinking water quality, quantity, continuity
