Abstract

The Purpose of this study to examine whether Self Instructional Training can improve the organizing school materials behavior. Hypothesis of this study was theres is a difference of organizing school materials behavior before and after giving Self Instructional Training program on children with ADHD. Two children by age 8-10 years old with ADHD diagnosed are selected as participants. Measurements in this study used a checklist of organizing school materials behavior. Participants underwent 15 intervention sessions of Self Instructional Training with duration of approximately 15 minutes. To get the result, data was analized using Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The result showed that Z = -2,835 with p < 0,01. This finding showed that there is significant difference of organizing school materials behavior, before and after giving Self Instructional Training Program on children with ADHD, which mean score in second baseline (12,90) higher than first baseline (5,25).
