Abstract

ABSTRACT The dissemination of information and announcement at the Faculty of Computer Science of Soegijapranata Catholic University in Semarang is still limited to spread by papers, faculty websites, and leaflets on bulletin boards. Meanwhile, this faculty has facilities such as smart TV but poorly utilized and less used for long periods of time. Live or streamed video can be used to help disseminate information or announcements. By installing Nginx server, users can use the OBS (Open Broadcast Studio) program to shows the announcement videos on the web browsers displayed on smart TV. The final result of this project is to show the announcement videos via smart TV. The videos can also be accessed via android and iOS based phones.
