Abstract

ABSTRACT Constraints that will be faced in the manfacture of network systems one of them is the cost. Financing that spends a lot of money in certainly not effective. This financing includes hardware and software financing. One of the network system can be used is LTSP(Linux Terminal Server Project). LTSP(Linux Terminal Server Project) is a project on linux to create free and open source server terminals. This server terminals can be used for clients that do not need hard disks or do not have disks at all (diskless) because they only require LAN boot to access the system operation that exist on the server. With the LTSP application then the client can access the linux server and run various applicatons that are inside. The result of the project is the use of LTSP to reduce expenses and get a satisfactory network system. Keyword : LTSP, Server, Linux iv
