Abstract

Slang consists of words that are unique in a way that not everybody might know the exact meanings of the words. Slang becomes a trend because the people who use it do not really want other people outside their group or those who are not their friends to know the message behind their conversation. Conversing with slang makes that purpose achievable as for people outside the group, slang is just merely meaningless words.
